Randy Travis Celebrates 25 Years With Duet Album

Brad Paisley's not the only country singer turning out the duets on his upcoming album--Randy Travis will celebrate 25 years of music with Anniversary Celebration, a duets project due to be released on June 7. Britney Spears Busts Out Performing Songs From New Album 'Femme Fatale'

The comeback singer transformed herself into a pop vixen for a live performance in San Francisco on Saturday night.

Clad in a revealing leather basque, Britney's appearance was a far cry from the casually-dressed mother of two who frequently ventures out in saggy clothes and unkempt hair tied in a lazy bun.

Nailing a number of eye-watering dance moves, she made easy work of her three-song taping for TV show Good Morning America.

PHOTOS: More Britney in concert.

Britney performed three songs - "Hold It Against Me," "Big Fat Bass" and "Till The World Ends" - at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, just days after surprising fans with two shows in Las Vegas.

After her short show, Britney told fans: "I love my music. It's my world. It's my everything."

Presumably she'd temporarily forgotten about her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The free gig - to an audience of 5,000 - is part of her promo campaign for new album "Femme Fatale."

Soulja Boy Tell'em Talks About New Album, Battle With Ice-T

"Soulja Boy Tell'em wants to both scale down and upgrade his workload as producer. In the wake of his album souljaboytellem.com, the 17-year-old MC has helmed tracks for crew member V.I.C. (including "Get Silly") and recently finished a record he said will be on Bow Wow's upcoming album called Marco Polo. He's eager to make beats for more of his peers.

"I'm getting these producer checks," he said Tuesday on the red carpet of the BET Awards. "I'm sitting back in the cut. While I stop working, I'm still working."

The Atlanta native told MTV News that he's almost done with his second album but won't be producing the entire project like he did his debut.

"It's called iSouljaBoy," he revealed of the LP (which he'd previously said would be called Back to School). "The album is gonna be crazy. I got more features on there. The first album, I produced the whole album; second album I'm looking to work with different producers such as Polow Da Don. I might collab with artists such as Bow Wow and Sean Kingston."

Soulja Boy's set is due out this fall — but in the meantime, he hasn't been hurting for headlines. The youngster has been in a viral back-and-forth with Ice-T in recent days. After the rap legend said some very disparaging words on a mixtape about the teenager, Soulja Boy said he wasn't feeling the dis, and that a man of Ice's age shouldn't be shooting down a teenager via Internet video blogs. Ice responded with his own video blog, apologizing for his more explicit words (like inviting Soulja to eat a part of man's anatomy), but maintained that his young peer's music "sucks." Yesterday a cartoon appeared on the 'Net mocking Ice — and midway through the cartoon, showed footage of Ice breakdancing back in the day.

"I ain't sugar-coat nothing," Soulja said. "I ain't back down. I ain't scared of dude or nothing like that. I just told him how I felt when he spoke on me. This ain't no beef or drama. I'm 17 years old and he's I-don't-know-how-old. I was defending myself."

50 Cent Talks Production On New Album "Black Magic"

50 Cent continues to work on his fifth solo album, to be called Black Magic.

In an interview with MTV he revealed what producers he'd worked with so far; Swizz Beatz, The Cataracs, Boi-1da, and Alex Da Kid. Also dropping hints that he may be in the studio with Kanye soon.

50 also spoke about G-Unit emcee Lloyd Banks, whose third album drops November 22. 50 played less of a role on this album than he did on Banks' previous, "this is his indepedence day, you know what I'm saying? Not just selling the CD independently because he's operating on my pocket, so it's not a traditional budget. But just him being on his own, I consciously stayed away from the record more to create a stronger distance so people would identify with his talent on this project."

In the summertime 50 revealed to Tim Westwood that he had something new up his sleeve for Black Magic. "I've got a joint that I did that was real uptempo," he explained. "It's still 50 Cent...[for] my Black Magic album, I've been listening to a lot of different kinds of music. I just want to create something that's out of the box, that ain't the same style of music or same kinds of music [that I normally make]. I'm using different song formats...it's still hip-hop music, it's still 50 Cent content, it's just written in a different way [from the traditional 16 bar format]."

That isn't all though, he's also changed how he's working with other artists. "I made collaborations [but] this time, I actually just wanted to create things and see if anything came out that I felt like other artists should get on," explained 50. "My previous albums, I went in the studio with them -- this time I'm making music and then trying to find ways to put them on the records. It's more me even when it's a collaboration. It's them fitting into what I felt was right now as opposed to us making a total compromise."

"Weird Al" Yankovic Talks New Album, ATP, Upcoming Children's Book

“Weird Al" Yankovic must be taken seriously. Sure, he’s spent his life penning popular-song parodies, but he is by no means a novelty. Consider the facts: His career has outlasted almost every artist he’s ever poked fun at, he’s had his own movie and television show, and he’s earned six platinum albums and three Grammy awards. Soon, Yankovic will publish a children’s book with HarperCollins, release a new album and appear at All Tomorrow’s Parties by request of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Yankovic recently spoke to Paste about these developments, and in the words of his character, George Newman, in the criminally underrated UHF: “This means something. This is important.”
